Tropicae Magazine Launch

Tropicae is an independent digital magazine focused on wildlife, culture, and travel of the tropical and subtropical regions.

Kookaburra 

The laughing kookaburra has a large native range in Australia and has been introduced to other areas of Australia and to New Zealand. They are alongside hornbills, kingfishers, bee-eaters, hoopoes, and rollers in the taxonomy Order Coraciiformes, and is known as the largest member of the kingfisher family.

Koala 

The modern koala is a well-known arboreal Australian marsupial and is classified as ‘Vulnerable’ by the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species due to habitat loss, urbanisation, climate change, and disease.

Isle of Skye

Exploring the landscapes and wildlife encountered on my long weekend visiting the Isle of Skye, Scotland, featuring seals and white-tailed eagles.

Baby Bunny Burrow

As Spring arrives, young kits leave the safety of their warren to forage and explore their surroundings, but not all is safe outside. The European Rabbit is classified as Endangered in its Iberian Peninsula native range and despite their common presence in the UK countryside, rabbit populations are also declining throughout Britain and seeing no sign of slowing down.
